Ashley Crews, PT, DPT
Ashley is the founder of Strong Steps Physical Therapy, PLLC.
In 2013, she received her Bachelor’s in Biology at the College of Saint Rose. Following her undergraduate program, she pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Russell Sage College.
Since 2015, she has spent and enjoyed her time working in outpatient orthopedics, working with children and adults. She has experience working with children in early intervention, preschool and school-aged special education programs as well as working with children with torticollis/ plagiocephaly, gross motor delay, and general muscle weakness. Ashley has completed training in Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs).
Ashley takes interest working with young athletes with the goal of them returning back to their favorite sport pain-free with improved mobility, strength, and coordination.
She looks forward to having the opportunity to provide comprehensive and effective physical therapy visits with your child.
Cynthia Dean, PT
Cynthia brings 25 years of diverse pediatric experience to Strong Steps Physical Therapy. After graduating from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, she has worked in a variety of settings in New York and Northern California including Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, UCSF Medical Center and MINOR improvements. She has worked in acute and outpatient rehab, in the NICU, and in programs for children such as Early Intervention, CPSE, and CSE. She has experience working with pediatric diagnoses related to orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology and oncology. She is a member of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (ACCPDM).
